From the temperate rainforest to desert parks, for its size, Victoria has a surprisingly varied range of amazing parks to visit and picnic, bushwalk, camp and spot wildlife. Here are a few of the most Popular:
Wilsons Promontory National Park
I’m a bit biased (I briefly worked there in my younger days but this gorgeous park has beaches, mountains, wildlife, wheelchair accessible walk and beach wheel chair hire, short walks and multi day hikes as well as just been generally very pretty to look at, its well worth a visit.
The Great Otway National Park & Otway Forest Park
The Great Otway National Park is easily visited as part of a road trip down the Great Ocean Road or as its own standalone trip. With some lovely little regional towns to visit as well as plenty of bushwalks, waterfalls and mountain bike riding people head there for weekends away again and again.
