The South Coast of New South Wales is full of beautiful beaches to explore with your pup as well as some other outdoor activities great for dogs and their humans.

But finding accommodation apart from holiday houses can be a time-consuming search so I put together this guide to dog-friendly caravan park cabins, motels, hotels and resorts on the South Coast of New South Wales (after researching for my own trip in early 2024).

Reflections Eden

Reflections Eden has two bedroom dog friendly cabins with an enclosed deck with a gate.

The Seahorse Inn Hotel – Eden

In a fabulous beach front location a 10 minute drive from Eden, the Seahorse Inn Hotel & Villas is the perfect place to get in some beachside relaxation.

The dog friendly accommodation is in modern cabins a short distance from the main historic building so you can still have space for sports equipment and to cook your own meals but be a stones throw from the bar & restaurant to treat yourself.

Discovery Parks Narooma

A short drive out of town, Discovery Parks Narooma has 2 bedroom dog-friendly cabins available with huge fenced deck for extra off leash space.

Keep in mind these cabins are in the Caravan Park, not the bush setting where the rest of the cabins are.

Rosedale Bush Bungalow

Perfect for couples or a solo traveller that is comfortable in a quieter bush setting this little Bush Bungalow is in Rosedale between Narooma and Batemans Bay. The Rosedale Bush Bungalow is a great dog friendly option for exploring the area as well as being the perfect spot for long morning coffees, booking reading and afternoon nibbles and drinks enjoying the bush around you.

I would stay here again but did wish the fencing extended around the front deck as that was my favourite place to site for the bush views and my doggo had to stay on a lead as there is resident wildlife and shes a chaser.

It’s only available to book via airbnb but we stayed here and loved it which is why I’ve included it as the only holiday house on this list.
